Product review: Loreal Hydra-Total 5 facial wash

            Miracle in a bottle
L'oreal Hydra-Total 5 facial wash
It comes in two packaging pink one for sensitive skin the other in normal/combo skin.
So even before any marketing was done of this product I bought it from a reputed drug store in ISLAMABAD.
Introductory price was 499/- but now it's for 699.
I live in Karachi and the weather is super humid your skins gets greasy and keeps on depositing dirt in your pores. I was looking for something that can make my face looks less shinny, fresh, vibrant and even out skin tone.
And you guys have to believe me that it is exactly what u all need in this weather!
Its Texture is amazing
Your face feels
fresh
Hydrated
Clean
And soft!
I feel the difference ... Do you?

Play dough flowers

As much as fresh flowers look beautiful I believe they are high maintenance too!
So being a mom in daytime and a crafter at night I thought why not make flowers with my daughters play dough as she has totally forgotten about it after playing with it for several days.
Things u need
-coloured play dough
-white glue
- skewers

Taking small portions of yellow for petals, you start rolling and pressing against your finger
Make a thin strip of green and start rolling  around the skewer for your centre.
As u make yellow petals stick them around the middle till u get your desired size.
Put the white glue with a brush on the flower it will give it some shine and hardness!
HAPPINESS! :)

DIY Wall hanging from foreign coins

I am a globe trotter! And as much as I love travelling, saving the leftover changed money has been my hobby too. So over the course of five years I happen to collect quite an amount of foreign coins which were begging me to be used in the making of an art piece. So, here is what I did to those little powerful things.
I MADE A WALL ART
All u need is

- A medium sized frame. I had mine 12"x16" ikea frame lying in the closet for quite a while.

- your collection of foreign coins
- white glue
- black chart paper
To begin with I pasted chart paper on the back support of the frame.
Then I washed all my coins by soaking and then brushing them with dish washing liquid mixed in hot water and a tsp of white vinegar.
Take a small brush I used my daughters old tooth brush and it came in really handy.
Rinse and air try them by spreading the coins on to a tissue paper. They will look like new;)

When completely dry try putting a dot on each coin on which ever side u don't want to show and start pasting like a pro!
The glue will dry out transparent just in case u messed up a bit.
Let it lye for a white till it dries and ...
Taddddaaaaa!!!!

DIY paintings under 7$

I saw a series like these at Pottery Barn in Dubai and had my heart stuck at them for good 3 months till I finally made something similar for my daughters room not for 200 $ but just under 700pkr/$.
*feeling super proud*

All u need is
-2 canvases 10"x10" each from a local book store or any crafts shop near you
-Poster paints red,white,yellow and purple
-Paint brush size 1
- sponge
-hair spray from home if u have any
So It took me 2 days to make these as it has 2 major steps to it.
First draw a big butterfly on each canvas with a colour pencil.
Mix red and white to make powder pink with the help of sponge cover one of the canvas leaving the butterfly white.
Mix white and yellow to make a lighter shade and repeat on the other canvas. Leave them to dry over night.
Now draw flowers all over the butterfly and start mixing colors to get shades of pink and purple on one canvas and shades of orange and purple on the other.
You can go greens and blues as per ur baby's room requirement !
Spray paint them for extra protection when dry.
Voila!
